In this collaboration with London based Musician Lava La Rue, I worked hand in hand with Lava on a capsule collection which represented who they are, with nods to their British/Jamaican heritage and mood boards filled with early 00s icons.

Lava is a Creative powerhouse, and we built the campaign set to showcase this, arming Lava with Posca pens and spray paint to create giant sketchbook page backdrops. We also collaborated on a zine to launch alongside the collection.
It was important to Lava for the range to be gender inclusive: "It’s really important to have clothes that embody that, because as someone who identifies across the spectrum, it’s really nice to feel represented in those garments that are something that I can wear and my brothers can wear and my friends can wear”.

The campaign shoot featured Lava, their friends and younger brother, we wanted the interaction to be authentic and natural. Sourcing vintage furniture and props to lean into the nostalgic feeling of this collection.
